Subsidy<\/strong><\/h4>

You will need to complete the\u00a0Online Application Form<\/a>\u00a0to apply for Child Care Subsidy.<\/p>

To qualify for subsidy, your child care provider must have a contract with the City of Hamilton.\u00a0<\/strong>For more information about approved child care operators, visit the\u00a0Child Care Registry<\/a>.<\/p>

All applicants must require child care within the next three months to be eligible to submit an application.<\/strong><\/p>

Specialized Services<\/h5>

Need translation services? Translation services are offered to best support Hamilton families (upon request).<\/p>

They also offer services to both our Francophone and Indigenous Communities.<\/p>

Their French language support worker is also available to deliver services to families and children that speak French. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>

Next steps after applying<\/h5>

Applicants that are not subject to the waiting list will be contacted to submit required documentation and scheduled an intake appointment to verify their eligibility. Applicants subject to the wait list will be sent a letter confirming waitlist placement. You will be contacted when an opening\u00a0for the program is available.<\/p>

Subsidy<\/strong><\/h4>

Subsidized child care is available through the Niagara Region to families in need. The process to obtain eligibility must be made by the parent\/guardian and not by La Bo\u00eete \u00e0 soleil. Subsidized care or a \"Purchase of Service\" is determined by the Region of Niagara. The Supervisor of the centre and the administration of La Bo\u00eete \u00e0 soleil must receive confirmation of the approved subsidy before accepting the child.<\/p>
